By 2050, the European economy will have to make sure that production processes reduce CO2 emissions by up to 95% compared to current figures.
For this reason, Assocarta, during their June meeting, presented a roadmap based on research, production innovation and alternative energy. As the first sector in Italy to adopt such an ambitious roadmap that sets goals for 2050, the paper industry has confirmed itself as a sphere of excellence, demonstrating industrial leadership and vision.
